Fabio Dal Boni
The Origin of an Artist and Author
“In 2015, after a sudden heart attack, I was clinically dead for eight minutes. In that timeless moment, I saw Heaven, walked with the angels, and met my father again. From that vision was born not only my book Extra Life – 8 Minutes in Heaven with My Father, but also the artistic journey that now defines my life.
As an artist and author, I believe that every color, every horizon, and every heart I paint is a testimony of that extraordinary experience. My book tells the story of those eight minutes in Heaven, while my art transforms that light into skies, sunsets, and visions of hope.
The Origin of My Aluminum Painting Technique is the place where these two paths meet: the words of an author and the colors of an artist, both carrying the same message of love, eternity, and rebirth.”

About Me
“Born in Italy, raised across Latin America and Europe, I grew up between cultures, languages, and horizons. Before becoming a full-time artist, I was a journalist, an editor-in-chief, and later a corporate executive working around the world. But art was always within me — the lens through which I sought light and transformation.
My paintings are created on aluminum, which gives them a luminous 3D effect — a sense of depth, movement, and transparency. Each piece becomes a statement of joy and presence, a ‘creature of light’ meant to live with you.”
